Perfect for the smaller family, the Bakfiets Classic short model is fun and manoeuvrable. It features a deep, strong cargo box which is ‘glued and screwed’ for strength while the cycle itself features an enclosed chain for low maintenance, a skirt / coat guard and easy access. This cycle feels strong and stable, yet nippy and is one of our best sellers.
The owner bought this bike from CarryMe back in January 2022 and has looked after it well. We have replaced the chain, put on a new front light (both front and rear are dynamo operated), greased the rollerbrakes, added the skirt / coat guard, and replaced one of the rubber feet on the stand. Full disclosure: some years ago part of the steering mechanism was damaged in a small crash the owner experienced with another cyclist, but the part was fixed and it’s totally safe and repaired.
