Raleigh Stride 3

£4,499

Ditch the car. The school run just got fun. The Raleigh Stride is an elegant, eco-friendly alternative to typical family transport. It has a wonderfully smooth and steady feel to it, different in our opinion to many standard cargo trikes on the market. Designed with practicality in mind, this classy cargo bike can carry a lot. Kids, pets, parcels, the weekly shop – you name it, the Stride 3 has got the whole family covered. With a large load capacity and cargo area to transport the children, combined with all the efficiency of electrical assistance, you can forget honking the horn when you’re stuck in traffic – instead, pedal the stress of rush hour away on the Stride 3.

With a discreet but powerful Bosch Performance CX Cargo line motor and 500Wh Bosch battery tucked away, the Raleigh Stride 3 gives everything and more to get you (and whatever you’re transporting) from A to B without breaking a sweat. With a range of up to 40 miles and a cargo capacity of 100kg inside the box, the Stride 3 is ready to help you take on your day. The Stride 3 offers a sturdy and generous cargo space with ample room to fit children and toddler/baby seats safely as well as your shopping. The 3 wheels make this model perfect for when you want a bit more stability when about and about, because who knows how much shopping you’re going to get!

The load capacity is 100kg in the box, plus the rider, and has the capability of carrying four kids, with a range of accessories to suit including a rain tent. It comes with one bench seat to carry two kids and you can purchase an additional bench seat so that up to 4 kids can be carried inside the box. It’s a really good value e-trike with some lovely features.

  • Bosch Performance CX Cargo Line
  • 40mile battery range
  • Bosch Purion display
  • 8 speed Shimano Altus rapidfire gears
  • Hydraulic disc brakes
  • Front and rear light set

If you’re really ambitious you can fit a fifth child on the rear rack by fitting an MIK-compatible child seat such as the Urban Iki! Or if you have a small baby, the Raleigh maxi cosi adpator can be fitted in the front of the box instead of a second bench seat. Alternatively a toddler or baby seat by Melia (which we stock) can be fitted in each child position for infants from 3-4 months old in a more sit-up position.
